Instructions:


Making Banku:

1. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

2. In a bowl, mix the fermented corn dough and fermented cassava dough together.

3. Gradually add the mixed dough to the boiling water, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming.

4. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pot.

5. Add more water if needed and continue stirring until the banku is smooth and stretchy.

7. Wet your hands with cold water and shape the banku into smooth balls or loaves.


Making Okro Soup:

1. In a separate pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat.
